“Bienvenue mon ami!”
Welcome to the herd!
Locally owned by Kip and Ashley Faulk, our hosting farm property, Heritage Family Farm, is situated on 5 acres in the heart of Cajun Country, and sits conveniently near the I-10/I-49 corridor.
The Faulk’s and their children are fifth and sixth generations in their family to homestead the land. Our practice is fortunate to have use of the fully stocked fishing pond, private pier and “bateau” launch, gardens, stable, and round-pen/paddock areas, as well as the farm cottage for indoor discussions and inclement weather gathering space.

Meet Your Co-Facilitators
“Emmy-Lou” is a nine year old QH/Arabian grey mare who we rescued from an abusive environment and have spent the last 7 years enjoying the spirit and heart that she brings to our family and all she greets. She is at her best when connecting with people, which makes for an excellent equine partner/teacher duo. She got her name from an old country and western singer, Emmy-Lou Harris, whose unique grace and long gray hair were her signature features.
“Clotile” the donkey is sweet but sassy. She came to us generously from another farm after bonding with Emmy during an extended boarding stay. Clotile is a fierce protector of predators when she needs to be, which makes her a great asset to the property.
